Management — Scheduling, Daily Logs & Site Checklists

This article covers:

  • Management sub-menu items: Scheduling, Daily Logs, Site Checklists, Maintenance
  • Scheduling: selecting a Schedule Template and setting Contract Start Date and Estimated Start Date
  • Daily Logs: recording date, schedule item, summary of work, notes, sub-contractors on site, and attachments
  • Site Checklists: running a New Inspection by choosing a checklist category
  • Maintenance: adding and tracking maintenance items with title, assignee, due date, status, and schedule item

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Management > Scheduling From within a lead or job record, click Management in the left sub-menu, then click Scheduling. Select a Schedule Template (e.g. Standard Template) and set the Contract Start Date. The schedule will be generated automatically from the template.
  2. Add a Daily Log Click Daily Logs, then click + Daily Log. Set the Date (defaults to today), select the relevant Schedule Item from the dropdown, enter a Summary of today's work, add detailed Notes, list Sub-contractors on site, and attach any files (photos, documents). Click Save.
  3. Run a Site Checklist inspection Click Site Checklists, then click + New Inspection. A dialog asks you to Choose a Category — select the appropriate checklist category. Work through each checklist item, marking items complete as they are done.
  4. Add a Maintenance item Click Maintenance, then click Add. Enter the item Title, assign it to a team member, set a Due Date, link it to a Schedule Item, and set the Status. Use this to track defects or post-handover maintenance tasks.

Important: Site Checklist categories must be configured in Settings > Templates > Inspection Checklists before they appear in the checklist selector.
